Dr David Seneque

David is a Specialist Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist, providing expert assessment and management of a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions across all stages of life.

He has a particular interest in shoulder injuries, persistent low back pain, neck pain, and hip and knee injuries, as well as complex or long-standing presentations. David is frequently involved in second opinions and the management of patients who have not responded to previous treatment, offering a detailed assessment and clear clinical direction.

David places strong emphasis on understanding the underlying drivers of pain and dysfunction. Through a thorough clinical examination, he provides a clear explanation of your condition and works with you to develop a structured, individualised management plan aimed at improving function, reducing pain, and supporting long-term outcomes.

His approach combines hands-on therapy, targeted exercise rehabilitation, and Clinical Pilates, guided by current best evidence. Where appropriate, David works collaboratively with other health professionals to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care.

Prior to completing his Physiotherapy degree at Curtin University, David worked as a Remedial Massage Therapist. He also holds a Master of Clinical Physiotherapy (Musculoskeletal) and has undertaken extensive post-graduate training, culminating in achieving Specialist status through the Australian College of Physiotherapists — the highest level of clinical recognition for physiotherapists in Australia, awarded to those with advanced expertise in their field.

In addition to his clinical work, David is involved in teaching as a Clinical Tutor for both undergraduate and postgraduate physiotherapy students at Curtin University.

Outside of work, David enjoys spending time with family and friends, staying active through cycling and gym training, and playing golf.
